Making a difference to your business
Scottish Pacific Benchmark
CONTAINER FINANCE

“Access funds to get your product into the country as you need it to supply your customers on time every time and increase your sales”

Scottish Pacific Benchmark Container Finance provides SMEs with access to import funding that will help businesses grow.

Scottish Pacific Benchmark Container Finance is offered to credit-approved businesses wanting to borrow up to $200,000 per container. It provides access to 120-day funding at a level not often serviced by other lenders and stock financiers.

Imports are an ever-increasing part of the Australian economy and Benchmark Container Finance offers a cost effective solution to businesses wanting to grow their sales.

BENEFITS
  • Allows you to grow your business and increase your turnover and your profits.
  • Continue to use your existing bank facilities.
  • Scottish Pacific Benchmark Container Finance gives you the flexibility to expand your business.
  • A Scottish Pacific Benchmark Container Finance facility ensures you won’t miss profitable sales and orders as you now have the working capital you need.
  • Scottish Pacific Benchmark Container Finance allows you to gain bulk discounts on wholesale purchases by ordering in larger quantities.
HOW DOES IT WORK?

Scottish Pacific Benchmark offers approved applicants a credit limit. Benchmark will require all applicants to enter into a debtor finance facility and 2nd mortgage security to the limit of the container finance facility is generally required.

When payment is due for your container you request a drawdown from Scottish Pacific Benchmark and the funds for that particular container are deposited into your bank account.

You raise your Letters of Credit or transfer of funds to the supplier. This is undertaken through your usual “forex” provider.

Once the goods are landed and delivered to customers the drawdown is repaid in stages using a debtor finance facility.

A monthly fee and interest, based on the amount drawn, is payable until the advance is repaid in full.
